1. Quotes and engagement

Each project is confirmed through a quote identifying the service, materials, scope, included revisions, estimated schedule, price, applicable taxes and payment method. “From” prices are indicative: the final fee depends on material condition, track count, duration, complexity, urgency and workload.

The exact tax treatment, including VAT where applicable, appears in the quote and invoice. The engagement is confirmed when you accept the quote and pay the stated amount or deposit.

2. Timescales

Delivery time depends on the service, complexity, correct receipt of files and current workload. We provide an estimate before starting. The schedule may change when material is missing, replies are delayed, scope changes or extra work is requested.

3. Revisions

Unless the quote states otherwise, mixing includes one revision round and mastering includes two. A round means an organised set of notes sent in one message. Extra revisions, direction changes, new mix versions or replacement material are quoted before work continues.

4. Standard deliverables

Mixing

We deliver a mastering-ready stereo mix at the resolution and specifications requested by the mastering engineer. Instrumental, acapella, clean, performance or stem versions are included only when listed in the quote.

Mastering

A typical package includes a 96 kHz / 32-bit float stereo WAV for future-proof archiving; 48 kHz / 24-bit and 44.1 kHz / 16-bit WAV files for compatible platform use; a 320 kbps MP3; and DDP when CD manufacturing has been agreed. Availability depends on the source and real destination.

Check names, metadata and files immediately after delivery and keep copies in at least two locations. We do not guarantee indefinite storage of projects or masters.

5. Materials and rights

You confirm that you may use the recordings, compositions, samples, images, trademarks and other material you provide. You retain ownership of your work and authorise us to process files only to quote, provide the service, deliver results and resolve issues.

6. Approval and scope changes

Approval closes the relevant stage. If you later send a new mix or change structure, tempo, arrangement, takes, references or strategy, we may issue an additional quote and revise the schedule.

7. Cancellation and withdrawal

You may request cancellation before work begins; non-recoverable costs and completed work will be deducted. If you ask a personalised service or digital content to begin during a statutory withdrawal period, we may request express consent and acknowledgement that the right is lost once the service is fully performed, as permitted by law.

8. Distribution, marketing and results

We do not guarantee streams, sales, label acceptance, playlists, media coverage, promoters or platform outcomes. Campaigns are delivered with professional judgement, but results depend on audience, budget, creative, algorithms, market and third-party policies. Platforms may reject, remove or alter content under their own rules.

9. Issues

Report corrupt files, technical errors or delivery discrepancies as soon as possible. We will attempt to resolve issues attributable to the service within a reasonable period. Email info@libelula-audio.com for support or complaints.
